"Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was..." - Date Announced and Video (Netflix)

Jamie Foxx is making his return to stand-up comedy — and he’s ready to tell all.

Premiering Dec. 10, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… sees the legendary entertainer taking the stage in a comedy event directed by Hamish Hamilton. As for what Foxx will address, you’ll just have to wait and see.

“I said, ‘If I can stay funny, then I can stay alive,’ ” Foxx says in the teaser for the event. “I’m back.”

Foxx will next appear with Cameron Diaz in Back in Action, a new action comedy launching on Netflix early next year, in which the duo star as a pair of suburban spies.
