Daniel Goddard Mourns the Death of His Beloved Father

 

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that actor Daniel Goddard has suffered a profound loss: his father has passed away. This was confirmed via a heartfelt post on Daniel’s social media, and it has resonated deeply with fans, friends, and colleagues alike.

In his tribute, Daniel wrote, “My father has passed away. As I sit here and reflect upon his life...” He shared how the advice his father gave him growing up—little nuggets he called “tips and tricks”—made more sense once he became a father himself.

He recalled lines like, “You've gotta look the part to get the part!” and “Take care, save wear!” which at the time might have seemed simplistic but now carry greater meaning. 

He concluded his message with: “Thank you for everything you did for me, Dad. I learned more from you than you ever could have imagined. Rest in peace. I love you, your son… Daniel.”

Catherine Bach Hospitalized After Surgery — Y&R Fans Sending Love

 

Beloved TV icon Catherine Bach — best known to millions as Daisy Duke from The Dukes of Hazzard — has been hospitalized following complications from a recent surgery. According to reports, the 71-year-old actress developed an embolism that doctors believe may have formed after the procedure.

The news came from Bach’s longtime friend and former co-star Ben Jones (a.k.a. “Cooter” from Dukes of Hazzard), who shared an update on Facebook. He said she was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on an emergency basis earlier this week and that fans’ prayers and positive thoughts were appreciated.

Jones also mentioned that Catherine had to cancel a planned fan appearance at Cooter’s Place in Nashville this weekend, where she was scheduled to meet with fans. Naturally, the cancellation sparked concern, and social media quickly filled with messages of support and well-wishes.

While Catherine will always be remembered as the original Daisy Duke — denim shorts and all — fans might also recognize her from The Young and the Restless. Lily Brooks O’Briant Undergoes Major Surgery

 

The Young and the Restless star Lily Brooks O’Briant, who plays Lucy Romalotti on the long-running CBS soap, recently shared a deeply personal update about her ongoing battle with endometriosis — a condition that affects 1 in 10 women worldwide.

On Instagram, Lily wrote:

“Endometriosis is a disease that affects 1 in 10 women. I am 1 in 10. This past week I had my second endometriosis surgery. My first was two years ago at age 17 where @seckinmd removed 21 lesions. I am incredibly grateful to have been treated by 3 of the very best Endometriosis excision surgeons in the world (seriously ask Google) @camrannezhatmd @seckinmd and @drchu_endodoc . The trip to NYC was pretty tough on me last surgery so I had my surgery in CA with Dr. Nezhat who removed 24 lesions from my ovaries, fallopian tubes, intestines, nerves in my back, bladder & more. I was doing everything I could to manage my endo symptoms — anti-inflammatory diet, supplements, acupuncture, lymphatic drainage massages, managing stress & more — but needed this second surgery. I am so grateful to be healing now; my mom got some very silly videos of me after being under anesthesia.”

 

For Lily, the journey hasn’t been easy. She had her first surgery at just 17, a time when most teens are thinking about prom and college, not complex medical procedures. But through every challenge, she’s faced her diagnosis with grace and honesty.
