Spectacular Season 33 Premiere Grows Substantially Over Fall 2023 Premiere


  • “Dancing with the Stars” presented its spectacular season 33 premiere Tuesday night, becoming the top program of the night in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 (4.97 million and 0.73 rating).
  • The fall return of ABC’s popular dance competition, hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, rose significantly over its season 32 premiere (9/26/23), growing +4% in Total Viewers (4.97 million vs. 4.78 million) and +14% gain in Adults 18-49 (0.73 rating vs. 0.64 rating).
  • The premiere exceeded its own previous season 32 average by a healthy +19% in Adults 18-49 (0.73 rating vs. 0.61 rating).
  • Tuesday’s premiere was the best “Dancing with the Stars” telecast among Adults 18-49 since the show’s Taylor Swift night — since 11/21/23.

Logline: Joan’s suitors settle into the bachelor mansion and prepare for an exciting week of dates, including a group date down memory lane to relive their senior prom, a magical one-on-one at Disneyland Resort, and the Second Annual Golden Talent Showcase.


Extended Logline: After an unforgettable first night, Joan’s suitors settle into the bachelor mansion and adjust to the close quarters. To kick things off, Joan and a group of men take a nostalgic trip down memory lane to relive their senior prom, with a special performance by Taylor Dayne, as the men compete for the title of prom king, proving they still know how to rock a tuxedo and that their rhythm is as strong as ever. Next, Joan and one lucky man head to Disneyland Resort, the Happiest Place On Earth, for a magical day. Later, a group of men showcase their talents in the Second Annual Golden Talent Showcase, guest judged by the fabulous Loni Love, with the winner earning a private dinner with Joan. As the week wraps up, Joan and the men swap their cocktail party attire for casual barbecue gear, giving her the chance to see her suitors in a more relaxed light.

ABC Sets ‘The View’ Season 28 Premiere Date





The View is returning for Season 28, and ABC has announced the premiere date for Tuesday, September 3, at 11 a.m. ET, 10 a.m. PT/CT. 


The returning hosts, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, are all set to engage in discussing the “Hot Topics” of the day. The network has released a preview for the new season and has teased the “big move” they announced earlier this month, as the show will have a studio in downtown Manhattan. 


During the Season 27 finale earlier this month, The View teased its move to a new studio in the fall.
