Beyond the Gates is set in a picturesque Maryland suburb near Washington, D.C., within one of the most affluent African American communities in the U.S. It revolves around the Duprees, a powerful multi-generational family embodying Black royalty. Beneath their luxurious facades lie hidden secrets and scandals, with those outside the gates closely observing the drama unfold.
