Non-binary, genderfluid, pansexual Ugandan-American actor, filmmaker, and conservationist PAULINA LULE is set to star opposite Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker in MGM+’s upcoming series “Emperor of Ocean Park,” premiering Sunday, July 14th. Paulina plays Kimmer Garland, a high-powered lawyer on the verge of a federal judgeship who becomes entangled in a twisted conspiracy.
Paulina has been a strong voice against gun violence and is currently working on a project that hits home personally with ties to their brother who passed away in 2022 to gun violence. The soaring number of children and teenagers killed by firearms has created an “urgent public health crisis” and in a first-of-its-kind advisory, The U.S. surgeon general Dr. Vivek Murthy has declared gun violence a public-health crisis and called on policymakers to pass stronger laws to reduce deaths.

Paulina's impressive acting career includes roles in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “LOVE,” “The Good Place,” “Scandal,” “For the People,” and “General Hospital.” They also appeared in the acclaimed film "HONEY BOY" alongside Shia LaBeouf and Noah Jupe.
Paulina trained at the Joanne Baron/DW Brown Studio and the Identity School of Acting and holds an MFA from Chapman University. Their films have been showcased at festivals like the Austin Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival, and Milwaukee Film Festival, winning awards at the Bronze Lens Film Festival and Women in Film.
Currently, Paulina is working on a deeply personal project set in Milwaukee's Sherman Park area, blending horror/zombie elements with social commentary on racism and the challenges faced by formerly incarcerated individuals.
When not acting or filmmaking, Paulina dedicates their time to conservation efforts in Milwaukee, working with the Zoological Society of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County Zoo's Kohl’s Wild Theater Program. They also teach filmmaking and acting through the non-profit Milwaukee Film
